People are always asking me if I named my business after the car.
(Well...no, they're not...but it's a good story and I like to tell
it... ;) While the inspiration for the name came when I found out
how the Ferrari Testarossa got its name, the name of my business
doesn't really have anything to do with the car (it's just that the
only time you ever hear the term is in reference to the car).
I was watching
Car and Driver on TV when they explained that the Ferrari
Testarossa is so named because of its
red cylinder heads
(it's a 180° V-12, aka flat-12, so the cylinder heads are on
the sides). 'Testa rossa' is Italian for 'red-head'. I qualify as
one of those, so the rest is history...!
Now that you know that little tid-bit of information, you might be
amused by whom i chose for
my mascot
